Malaysia is a multicultural country, Ramadhan is a happening month for non-muslims too because there are festival activities and dining promotion everywhere.
Checkers Cafe at Dorsett Regency Kuala Lumpur presents a nostalgic Ramadhan buffet by the concept of ' Bintang Lagenda' with over five rotational menus offering 100 over wide selections of main dishes and appetising desserts each from 18th June until 16th July 2015.
As the cafe's name is Checkers, checkered floor design add an interesting flair to the cafe.
There are few stalls with attractive desserts at the entrance to welcoming us, such as pisang goreng and cempedak goreng, ice cream counter.

Definitely dessert area is my favourite spot! I love to eat Malay or Nyonya desserts, and i found Checkers Cafe are offering Malay and Nyonya cakes such as Serawa Pisang, Chilled Peach with Sago and Coconut, Malay and Nyonya Kuih, homemade cookies, bubur cha cha, bubur pulut hitam, fresh fruits and of course the superstar of Ramadhan ~ Buah Kurma (dates).
