Ben's Independent Grocer (B.I.G) @ Plaza Batai

Big things happened at Plaza Batai! The premium grocery shopping, Ben's Independent Grocer (B.I.G), has opened its doors at Plaza Batai. Wondering where is Plaza Batai? If you heard about Yellow Brick Road / Torii / Sitka cafe, then you should know it. It is a new shopping and dining enclave located within the Damansara Heights neighbourhood and just behind of these restaurants. 

I was invited to attend their grand launching recently, i was so excited because B.I.G's Eat.Drink.Shop concept finally comes alive at the Plaza Batai! 

I am big fan of B.I.G Grocery since it's first opened in Malaysia, because they maintains a strong selection and quality of products within a lively and interactive environment, it is not boring anymore while doing grocery shopping at B.I.G. Honestly it is easier to find at B.I.G when i want to buy a rare ingredients or imported products, and i only can find the boneless lamb steak here for my furkid's meal. 

EAT

Ben's General Food Store located at the opposite end of the Grocer, to serve a wide array of brands each with their own unique cuisine and expertise, making it a perfect gathering spot for families and friends. 

DRINK

Plan B Roasters offers a variety of coffee and drinks, where B.Read is serving you a fresh pastry and bread. This quick pick-me-up service is so convenient especially for busy peoples.

For a happening night, Beauty and the Beast will be making its debut end of November 2015. Beast is a bar and grill to tantalise any taste bud with steaks, lobsters and burgers. Beauty is a sophisticated bar where woman can enjoy exquisite cocktails and the finer things in life. 

SHOP

Contains 17000 sq ft store, B.I.G at Plaza Batai divided into several sections including Botanical Produce (fruits and vegetables), Barn Butchery, Bon Gourmet, Bay Seafood, Malaya Kitchen (local ingredients), Japanese, Dairy and Frozen, Boozelt (wine) and S.wine Deli. 

Have you seen this colourful capsicums before? you can find any color here, yellow/ green/ orange/ red/ purple/ black!! ok fine, there are no pink LoL!

This spaghetti is good! Me and my dogs love this so much (*sorry, sometimes i will feed them gluten free and wheat free organic beetroot spaghetti) 

To be highlighted that this store contains unique features with Cheese Room which emulates a French fromagerie with a unique selection of seasonal cheeses from around the world.

So, the grand launching night was indulge me in good food and drinks! I was spoiled with the premium products like fresh oysters, Australian lamb cutlets, foie gras, sashimi, wine, apple ciders, organic juice, cakes and ice creams. 

Last but not least, i was particularly impressed by the tenor. Great food, great music, great people and great night! 

B.I.G at Plaza Batai soon will become a top destination for everyone, where can enjoy Eat.Drink.Shop at the same time.
