Celebrate this Raya with Hei Sushi!

End of May, oh my god! Starting countdown to the Holy month of Ramadan for Muslim community,  it is anticipated that the next commonly asked question will be “Where to break fast?” during the fasting period. Indeed, buka puasa is a great time to gather with family and friends of different races over a joyous meal.

FYI, Hei Sushi is a Halal Japanese Restaurant Chain certified by JAKIM, its variety of dishes inspired by local and western gourmet to offering a taste of refined Japanese cuisine with its inventive East-meets-West-meets-local food concept. 

Ushering in the coming Ramadan and Raya celebration, Hei Sushi invites diners to discover an extensive array of Ramadan Special sets.
This Ramadan Menu consists of 3 set meals designed to suit the Ramadan and Raya celebration with different group of friends and families.

Katsu Jyu (choices of sauce - Curry, Teriyaki or Spicy Peanut) 
Tori Jyu (choices of sauce - Curry, Teriyaki or Spicy Peanut)

Ramadan Set B (1 pax)  |  RM25.90 only
1 Dates + 1 Appetiser (salad or Miso soup) + 1 Main course + 1 Side dish + a glass of refreshing soda (Red Passion)
Diners can pick ONE from these 4 sumptuous main courses :

Diners will get an additional side dish which includes any one of the following : Spider Maki, Otak-otak Harumaki, Sunshine Maki or Ebi Tempura. 
Spider Maki, a crunchy delight with its crispy soft shell crab and juicy snow crabstick. 
Sunshine Maki is a fusion style maki creation of breaded prawn sushi rice roll layered with sweet mango and flying fish roe, a mouth-watering combination with fragrance of sweet mangoes, crisp tempura prawn and crunchy flying fish roe. I like this!

Diners will get TWO additional side dishes which includes any 2 of the following : Spider Maki, Hei Maki, Sunshine Maki, Hana Neta, Tempura Moriawase, Temari Combo or Sashimi Platter (3 kinds). 
For Chicken lovers, Hei Tori Specialty is a sumptuous local x Japanese gourmet inspirations, specialty grilled chicken complemented with mango salad, pulut onigiri. 
While Tori (chicken) is a grilled chicken complemented with mushroom, vegetables, pulut onigiri. Both Hei Tori Specialty and Tori (Chicken) are cooked with chef's special spicy peanut sauce, giving the Japanese dish a local kick. 
Seafood delights : Shake Kara, Saba Kara and Ika Kara. 
Shake KaraChef’s signature grilled salmon in a tempting hot and spicy sauce; served with white rice.
Saba KaraMackerel grilled with onion in hot and spicy sauce, served with white rice. 
Ika KaraGrilled squid accompanied by hot and spicy sauce, served with white rice.

Apart from that, noodles are always a great option as well. Their udon is thinner and smoother than others, easier to absorb the tangy teriyaki sauce, all of us can't stop to eat this!
Kaisen Inaniwa Udon 
Assorted seafood – salmon, prawn, scallop & squid served with udon in teriyaki garlic sauce. comprising assorted seafood dressed with teriyaki garlic sauce. 

Tenzaru Inaniwa Udon 
Deep-fried breaded prawn and assorted vegetable served with udon in teriyaki garlic sauce. 


Tori Inaniwa Udon 
Tastefully seasoned chicken cutlet served with udon dressed with teriyaki garlic sauce.

Hei Maki, as Chef's signature tempura maki. Layered with seaweed, sweet Japanese omelette and cucumber completed with a flavoursome twist of Malaysian Otak-otak. This is definitely delicately dish and i was addicted with the spice of Otak-otak fish mousse! Surprisingly, Otak-otak can work very well with sweet Japanese omelette, I don't eat Otak-otak because i dislike the taste and smell but this Hei Maki is so nice! Strongly recommend!!! 
Air-flown fresh Sashimi Platter (3 kinds)
Hana Neta

Irresistible deep-fried sushi roll topped with air-flown fresh salmon, butterfish and tuna.
Temari Combo 

An eye-catching beautiful platter of ball-shaped sushi combination- Inari Temari, Tako Temari, Tori Salada Temari, Hana Temari, Ebikko Temari and Maguro Mentai Temari which are prepared with a variety of fresh and tantalising ingredients.
Red Passion 

A refreshing blend of soda with cherry, syrup and chia seeds that will surely quench your thirst.
