When my life is getting busier and hectic, i woke up every single day but feeling tired, I constantly felt a vague feeling of unhappiness for no reason at all, frequently experienced terrible headaches. I was start to think and learned about the gravity of chronic stress, I have to made an effort to change my habits and keep everyday stress to a minimum. There are so many ways to effectively manage stress, i choose workout.
When I went to the gym, i will do some treadmill and elliptical machine, but I didn't last like 15 min, i got bored of walking on the treadmill and just left. To help beat boredom at the gym, i'm always looking for weight machines such as Horizontal Seated Leg Press, Lat Pull-Down, Chest Press etc. However, i don't have knowledge about this and no personal trainer as well, those weight machines put my body into unnatural positions and take my joints through dangerous ranges of motion, i was injured many times.Thus, i stop going to the gym until i heard of Curves Malaysia, it is the World’s Leader in Women’s Fitness and designed for women only. Recently, Curves Malaysia hosted an exclusive meet and greet session to introduce the Curvette of the Year 2016 finalists at its Bandar Sri Damansara club.
At the Meet and Greet Session, we met the four finalists, also known as Curvettes -Tengku Faira Edna Iskandariah, Eshwari Vasuthewan, Datin Dr Hasliz Abu Hassan and How Woan Chyi to shared their unique and inspiring stories of overcoming adversities to find contentment through well being. Each finalists spoke about how Curves Malaysia changed their lives with not only a healthier body and mind, but they gained confidence and found new friends along the way here. Their stories were awe-inspiring!
