Ishin's chefs will be more than delighted to prepare a customized Kaiseki creation of a six to twelve multi-course meal that reflects the changing seasons of Japan; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
Shin Sanma Yaki with Gobo Dengakumiso     RM38
This sweet and salty glaze is amazing. Dengaku is a good example of seasonal cooking.
If you are Japanese food lovers, properly you should know “Sanma” (秋刀魚)or Mackerel Pike usually comes on our plates with the advent of Autumn. In Japan, annual Meguro Sanma Festival held to officially celebrating the beginning of the season. It is one of the most prominent autumn foods in Japanese cuisine, rich in protein and unsaturated fatty acids.
Shin Sanma Tataki Sashimi with Ponzu sauce    RM58
Now is mid of August, Autumn is coming soon, I am glad to enjoy this seasonal Sanma which the flesh is fatty and sweet. Sashimi is my favourite among all Japanese dishes, Ishin is known with their freshness and presentation perfection sashimi. Ponzu sauce is added bonus to the covered the fishy smell as it is a Japanese dipping sauce made from soy sauce, lime juice, vinegar, and fish flakes.
Shin Sanma Shioyaki    RM 58
Grilled sanma is the most popular way to enjoy seasonal sanma, shio means salt and yaki means grilled. We can always taste Sanma Shioyaki whole year long in Japanese restaurant but it is frozen fish, the meat is harden and rough. If eat Sanma Shioyaki in season, you will be amazed by its sweet and smooth meat.
Pan Fried Shin Sanma and Duck Liver served in creamy sauce    RM98
Duck livers are normally associated with velvety smooth pâté, much more animal friendly compare with foie gras. Served in creamy sauce for the extra flavour.
Tsubugai Nabe    RM168
There are 2 ways to enjoy this dish, you can comfort your stomach with savory hot pot with seared Tsubugai and variety of vegetables cooked in a soy sauce broth.
Or enjoy as sashimi!
Tsubugai or whelk has a sweet taste with slightly crunchy texture. I simply adore with the crunchy texture of sashimi, the meat is slightly rough when cook in hot soup.
Wagyu Beef Kakuni    RM108
Kakuni is a Japanese braised pork dish which literally means "square simmered", braised Wagyu Beef stewed in Sweet Soy Sauce with Daikon and Tokyo Scallion. The meat is so tender and juicy, instantly melts in the mouth. I think i can eat at least one bowl rice glazed with its thick sauce and the flavourful Daikon.
Iwagaki Cheeseyaki   RM68
Inaniwa Udon   RM37
Inaniwa udon is in creamed color, thinner than udon and smoother than other ramen, handmade in the Inaniwa area of Inakawa machi, Akita prefecture. It tastes quite mild as it is soaked in light dipping soup.
Grilled Japanese sweet corns   RM28
 Raindrop Cake    RM8
Air-flown directly from Japan, its texture like a jelly and melts into your mouth in few seconds, such a refreshing raindrop! The Raindrop Cake is New York City–based chef Darren Wong’s recipe inspired from the mizu shingen mochi, an intriguing Japanese cult dessert made from mineral water and gelatin or agar and served with roasted soybean flour and sugar cane syrup. Slightly different with mizu shingen mochi, you can bring this raindrop cake home! It has individually packed in a special way.

End your meals with a sweet note where you can fully enjoy imported fresh fruits, flown-in with the changing seasons of Japan.
 Yubari Melon   RM68
Kyoho  RM35
Momo   RM78
My most favourite fruit ever! White peach!!!! I can spent a lot on this fruit no matter how expensive it is, LOL!
