The inaugural Foodtopia Food Tour was launched recently at The Mines bringing a unique dining experience to customers. About 90 customers participated in this Foodtopia Food Tour held in conjunction with International Women’s Day at the mall.
To be eligible for the Foodtopia Food Tour, a free entry pass will be given when customer sign up as CAPITASTAR member which is a loyalty program that rewards shoppers with minimum spend. Existing CAPITASTAR member received exclusive entry pass with minimum spending of RM30 in a single receipt.
The event, hosted by JC, celebrity radio deejay also featured lucky draw session at each participating F&B outlet to win dining vouchers as well as live interaction with the chefs and restaurant managers.
“Our goal at Foodtopia is to allow customers to enjoy the whole dining experience provided by the participating F&B outlets with food ranging from appetisers, mains and desserts. We are featuring 7 F&B outlets overlooking the unique canal feature this time around” says Paulin Lim, the Marketing Communications Manager of The Mines. “Besides enjoying the mouth-watering dishes provided by our F&B outlets we want the customers to share the joy of dining with their loved ones, family and friends. Food is always better when it’s shared!” she added.
Signature foods and the must-try were prepared and presented by Almendi's, Chill2, DubuYo, Häagen-Dazs, Sepiring, Takio Ikayaki and Teppanyaki Malaysia.
Penang Assam Laksa at Sepiring, with thick rice noodles in a sour and spicy fish broth, shredded mackerel and ginger flower.
Keropok Lekor Fried fish sticks in a sweet chilli dipping sauce, the texture is too hard to eat, for me and my friends.
Chill Chill Thai teas and coffees Refreshing Thai teas and coffees that is keeping true to the Thai roots. But it is too sweet!
Takio Ikayaki 25 cm jumbo squid, i like this flavourful crips and crunchy squid!
As my schedule is too busy on the day, i only able to reached there after 1 hour they started and leave earlier, so that's all the foods i had during the night.
