Sui-San Fish Market @Taman Danau Desa

April 18, 2017

In Tokyo, i love to go Tsukiji Fish Market (築地市場, Tsukiji Shijō) to have a fresh sushi breakfast or brunch at their "very small" restaurants crowded along narrow lanes. It is the most famous and best known as one of the world's largest fish markets rom. From there, i can grab the cheapest and freshest seafood in Tokyo. I am super fans of Japanese cuisine, recently i found a new shop that is a must visit place for seafood fans at KL!
Tucked into Taman Danau Desa shop lots area, Sui-San Fish Market is delivering the finest, freshest and most affordable seafood from Japan, Norway and local Pulau Ketam delight!
You can now enjoy the freshest seafood air-flown all the way from Tsukiji Fish Market (twice a week) with affordable price!
Besides of fresh seafoods, there are selling imported frozen seafood with premium quality and with vacuum packaging.
Similar to restaurant of Tsukiji Fish Market, you can opt to have your seafood cook on the spot and serve fresh. Cooking charges applies: grill (RM5), pan fried (RM5) and Teriyaki (RM10).
Wakame Tofu Salad with roasted sesame dressing   RM8.90
A delicious wakeme seaweed salad mixed with tofu and fresh greenies, dazzling with wafu dressing. Packed with nutrients, the seaweed actually contains soluble fiber, it will make you feel full and good for your diet too. Enjoy every mouthful of umami flavour!
Pariko Zuke (Pickled Cucumber)  RM6
Sashimi Platter RM88
Sashimi lover, you definitely must go for this! A generous portion of fresh ingredients from the sea, featuring Hamachi, Yellow Tail, Trout, Tuna, Hotate and Ebiko. All sashimi are freshly cut in thick slices and served immediately.
Unagi Kabayaki   RM50
Unagi Kabayaki is a famous dish in the Japanese cuisine, it is very expensive even though eat at Japan. I am big fans of Unagi Kabayaki, so i have high expectation for this as it is hardly to find a nice authentic Unagi Kabayaki in Malaysia. Sui-San's Unagi version is just so so, not too bad but not so good too. They grilled Unagi with teriyaki sauce, fairly tasty but not too authentic.
Full Blue Shell Mussels  RM29
Cooked with sake, Japanese shoyu, garnish with parsley and lemon juice. We all quite enjoy this mussels with extra savoury sparkle in aromatic sake cooking style, every bites packed with salty and umami flavour.
Masaba Fillet (Grilled/Shioyaki) RM20
Madai Fish (Grilled/Shioyaki)   RM173
For me, the meat is slightly overcooked, texture rough.
Edamame  RM10
Unlike to other Japanese cuisine, Sui-San served Edamame which stir fried with some signature spicy sauce in it. Hmm.... a fusion style with Japanese and local flavour?
Baby Scallops (Teriyaki Sauce)  RM28.50
Pan Fried Prawns  RM54.90
