Hey all, It takes me awhile to edit my photos and finally the Perth trip is up on my blog! Perth, obviously it is one of the popular vacation spot in this year as i saw a lot of my friends visited there. I love Australia, but i don't wish to visit again to the same region same place and i never go to Perth before, so... we bought the air tickets very last minute and fly off to this Kangaroo land without any proper itinerary LOL! If you are looking for budget trip, sorry this is not it haha!
Alright, let's see what was happening during my 7 days 6 nights trip!
| Accommodation |
I am very picky for accommodation because all i want is convenient, i don't mind to pay more for it. You will know my concern if you bring your mother go travel, LOL! There are lot of choices for the accommodation, I tried to search Airbnb as well but because of too last minute, there are only have options where far from town and no car park. So i decided to book Citadines St Georges Terrace located in the heart of Perth’s central business district around Hay Street & Murray Street. The convenient location let me to easy access to some of the city's main finance, cultural and sightseeing hotspots such as The Perth Convention, Exhibition Centre, Museum of Performing Arts, His Majesty’s Theatre, Riverside Theatre as well as the Government House and Supreme Court of Western Australia and Elizabeth Quay station. I can walk to the two main shopping malls in Perth (Murray and Hay street malls) within 15 minutes.
I am opt for a room for 3 pax and must fitted with a kitchenette equipped with modern appliances if i travel to Australia. I doesn't know to cook but i love to do grocery shopping in Woolies and cook for breakfast.
My room is studio premier apartment, the biggest room (48 sqm) in Citadines St Georges Terrace.
Apartments are also fitted with a working desk, two-seater dining table, an LCD television with a home entertainment system including in-room movies, an electronic safe as well as individually controlled air-conditioning and heating. Complimentary housekeeping and Wi-Fi connectivity are also available.
7 days 6 nights for my room price is RM3,599.95, so it is RM599.99 avg./night. Yeah~ I know it is not cheap but worth it!

If i travel to Japan or Korea, i must rent a pocket wi-fi before i departure from Malaysia. But for Perth or Australia, get a sim card is cheaper than rent a pocket wi-fi. It is a must for me to stay connected 24/7 every day, because i need it to support GPS.
This plan provides unlimited standard national calls, SMS and MMS, data and Voicemail within Australia for a $2 daily usage fee. Not that costly, it is just AUD 2 (RM6+) per day only. I paid AUD 14 for 7 days use.
I would suggest you to get a Optus sim card at their airport, as they will help you to install and done all the setting for activation. We overspent the data so we got no data on our last day, we need data for GPS to go airport. My sister bought it at petrol station, please read carefully on the packaging ok? Because my very smart sister bought Optus for boardband instead for mobile phone, we took for an hour to fill in all the information to activate the sim card.
| Transport |
I didn't go to try their public transport, i don't wish my mum rush here and there so i rent a car for 4 days. For Malaysian, our driver's licence is acceptable in Australia, no need to apply international driver's licence. FYI, parking rate is super expensive in Australia. Even though i am as a hotel guest but still need to pay AUD30 per day for the parking! If you park at outside, the parking rate is even higher.
I can't find any parking nearby my hotel when the first day i pick up my car, so i just park it at another building and we were shocked by the parking rate on the next day. AUD54 wtf?!
Such a coincidence that my car plate number is my D.O.B ^^
Very easy to make a booking for car rental, just click to the website, choose your preferred car, fill in the pickup and drop off location/ date/ time. Payment is not required until pick up.
Rental for my compact car : AUD 116.96 / 4 days

The Perth Crawley Edge Boatshed (Blue Boat House)
The Blue Boat House is really the most highly Instagram-able place, also in my bucket list too. It is actually just by the road side and no place to park, do expect a queue for a turn to take photo because there is only ONE boat house. Everything is so blue so beautiful!
Address : Swan River, 2 Kings Park Avenue, Crawley.
St. Mary's Cathedral
Nothing much, just a beautiful historic architectural building in Perth city.
Address: 17 Victoria Square, Perth WA 6000, Australia
Hay St. | King St. | Murray St.
Honestly, we really got nothing to do most of the time because those tourist attraction spots are not attractive LOL! I visited wildlife park at other states of Aussie, no way for me to spend AUD30 / entrance ticket and say "hi" to penguin again. So we just strolling around in the city like retire people, had a cup of hot chocolate, enjoy the cold wind blow and plenty of sunshine around the forrest place.
Hay Street, King Street and Murray Street is their main shopping street with everything from designer fashion and local boutiques, to department stores, homewares, adventure gear, electronic goods and more.
Be bear in mind, Perth's regular trading hours is from 9am until 5pm (Monday to Thursday, Saturday, Sunday) ONLY! closed at 9pm on Friday.

King's Park
Kings Park is a premier tourist destination in Western Australia and is one of the top places to see in Perth. It is FREE! There are many things to do in Kings Park, from sightseeing to dining, trekking, cycling, picnics and barbecues. It is a perfect location to see whole view of Perth city.
Evening view.
Night view.
From high above, you can see the twinkling lights of the city, so beautiful.

London Court
Hmmm.... i don't suggest this place to you because.....
I saw a lot of travel blog recommended London Court as a visual delight and must-go place in Perth. When i stand in front of this building, ok... the old architecture theme entrance is so small as you can see from my photo, Terrace entrance was under renovations during my visit, nothing to shout about it.
Step in the street, you can browsing through designer clothing, premium jewellery, crocodile skin goods, footwear, accessories and antiques. There are few cafes also but OMG~~~ such a silent walking street only.
Address: Hay St, Perth WA 6000, Australia
Pinnacles Desert
We took a day trip from Perth to the other-worldly landscape of the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. It's a true desert landscape where the weathered rock spires of the Pinnacles rise out of yellow sand dunes.
Driving distance : about 2 hours from CBD Perth
Address: Pinnacles Drive, Cervantes WA 6511, Australia
The rock lobster capital of Cervantes is approximately half an hour from Pinnacles, we planned to have our late lunch at The Lobster Shack after that, but we were late! It closed at 3pm! So we brought their Cervantes’ famous seafood delicacy back to hotel, I was their temporary chef to cook lobster aglio olio and cheesy baked lobster LOL!
My mum said it is delicious! Hey~ my very first time to cook hahahahaha!
Cottesloe Beach
One of Perth's most popular spots for swimming, snorkelling and surfing.
Driving distance : less than 30 minutes drive, from CBD Perth
Houghton Winery

We actually visited Fremantle Market and Crown Casino Perth also, but there are nothing special to me, so i didn't take picture.

La Even Coffee & Kitchen
La Veen is located in a heritage listed building composed with red brick walls, serving quality coffee and on-the-go cafe food.
Honestly, i can't find any good food in Perth if compare to other city like Melbourne. This cafe is one of the best breakfast i had in Perth, but their foods are average and slightly overpriced. We ordered 3 breakfast and 3 coffees, cost us AUD 90.

My Perth trip is kinda relaxing because i didn't visit all the tourist spots as i found there are quite similar to another Australia city where I traveled b4. So, we just go wherever we like. Sometimes, traveling without a plan can be a worthwhile experience ;)
Finally posted already hehe!
