Sky dining has always been one of my favourite list of restaurant to visit and i recently went to Feugo at Troika Sky Dining for a taste of the exclusive limited-time menu featuring U.S. fresh and frozen potatoes has prepared by Chef de cuisine, Shaun Lazaroo.
This casual restaurant and bar is perched at a vantage point, al-fresco dining best to lets you sip on cocktails while dazzle you a panoramic view of the city skyline especially watching the sunset behind KLCC. Please come early to catch the sunset, it is really beautiful! With the good foods, view and service, no wonder Feugo always fully booked. I would recommend that you make a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment due to its popularity, especially for those who opt for the 6:30pm to watch the sun goes down.
Why most of the restaurant like to using U.S. potato because U.S. potato growers offer processors high-quality potatoes from a plentiful year-round supply. The U.S. industry standards are demanding and must meet all Food and Drug Administration and USDA specifications, enabling U.S. processors to create top-quality and safe frozen potato products by using state-of-the-art technology. The finished product is instantly quick-frozen to lock in the flavour and nutrients of fresh potatoes.
The traffic is always bad during weekdays but i would say the jam was well worth it. Alright, let me introduce the two U.S Potato dishes that should not miss out when dining at Fuego during with U.S. Potato Culinary Festival 2018 until 30 of July 2018.
Spinach Hashbrown RM 25
Shredded Potato, Baby Spinach, Eggs, onions all nestled in a hash brown crust, serving with sour cream. What’s not to like?
The hash browns are satisfyingly ultra-crisp with almost every single shred of U.S. potato browned and crunchy.
Salt Baked Potato & Foie Gras RM 70
At first glance, it looks like just a baked potato. But let me reassure you that Feugo's salt-baked potato is anything but ordinary. Using the U.S russet potato, it’s texture is sublimely smooth and fluffy because salt baked will traps in moisture and provides for even cooking that produces incredibly light and moist potatoes. Light aroma and fluffy texture of salt baked potato is goes well with foie gras, literally.
It is amazingly delicious that it takes some Sage Hollandaise, Balsamic Reduction, Salt Dust to elevate it into a creamy and delicious treat.
U.S. potatoes has just 110 calories only per serving, it is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 and Potassium which more than a banana, also free from fat, sodium and cholesterol. There is no need to feel guilty slicing into this no matter how beautiful it is! Trust me, you won't regret trying this dish.

Loved everything about this place. A meal at Fuego might costly a bit but it certainly justified by dining in cozy atmosphere with a superb view, great food and wonderful service.
