It seems like Yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) is the latest hit because I saw a lot of Yakiniku restaurant new open in town recently. When you are struggle what can eat in Japanese restaurant, Yakiniku always is the safest choice as it have all options that you might looking for.
Last weekend, my friend invited me to dinner at the new kid on the block, Niyama Yakiniku is a newly opened Yakiniku restaurant in Kota Damansara. Tucked in the Encorp Strand Garden Office, I was lost even though with my GPS. You will need to register at the guard house before go into the office block, I was told by there will has signboard to the parking zone after the guard house but honestly, the signboard might too small that i couldn't notice where is it, LOL! I decided to ask the security guard come and lead me to block H. 
Niyama Yakiniku is an outdoor Japanese BBQ, good vibes if there is not rainy day. I don't know there is pet friendly restaurant until i google some information for this blog post, otherwise i will bring my Golden Retriever to enjoy the BBQ night.
They carefully selects their meat to guarantee freshness and succulence when serve. They goes beyond premium beef to serve premium pork, and other high quality ingredients such as ox tongue, rib eye, scallops etc.
I especially love the ox tongue and the tamagoyaki (grilled tamago). Ox tongue that's thinner layer but promising the perfect juiciness for a Japanese grill, while the tamagoyaki with mentai sauce is the ideal balance of tenderness and tastiness.
Garlic fried rice is a bomb!
We had a satisfying meal here, and also enjoy the Japanese beers while BBQ at this windy environment. It should not cost you a lot of money but of course seafood or premium meat is expected to pricier.
